| 5 Reasons Most Game Enthusiasts Cant Be Beta Game Testers |

Professional beta game testing isn't actually that difficult. The truth is, you might even go as far as to say it's a fairly easy job that does not require a ridiculous amount of hard work. All you've got to do is put the video game in, play through it, write down the game's bugs & glitches, then collect a paycheck right after you are finished. Seriously, does that sound like a tough job to you? I'll make an educated guess and respond for you, NO!
5 Motives You will Be Rejected for Video Game Beta Tester Jobs...
- You do not have at least three years of video game experience. To be honest, you won't need to be a gaming legend that has beaten every last game on the market. However, you do have to have basic knowledge of the video gaming industry and how video game design works. The more experience and information you've got, the better off you'll be when it comes to landing game tester jobs.
- You are not at least 18 years of age. Some game developers are able to employ (under limitations) gamers who are sixteen years of age. Then again, this is mostly a rare occurrence in the industry of professional beta game testing.
- You don't have a next-gen gaming console and/or a powerful gaming rig (PC). Having both is best, but one or the other should do. If you're not current with gaming technologies, you honestly don't stand a chance.
- You don't have a video games tester resume. No resume means no consideration of any kind, plain & simple. Being a professional game tester means having to do actual work which NEEDS TO BE taken seriously. It is not a spare time activity you do on the weekends -- this is an ACTUAL job.
- You've lousy grammar skills. Game testers complete loads of reports & forms which are used by video game engineers to repair & improve games. If the reports aren't well detailed and readily comprehended, the programmers aren't able to do their job. If a programmer is not able to complete his job, it ordinarily implies the tester has not done his.
If the 5 factors listed above aren't an issue for you, then you are indeed a prospect for professional beta game testing. All that's remaining to do would be to begin seeking out game tester jobs in your area -- and if you know where to look, then it's not going to take you any longer than a few weeks!
